 Jack the Ripper in America

There were many suspects in the Jack the Ripper murders over the years. What are the evidences that support the claim that James Kelly was Jack the Ripper? If you are a rival detective, how do you eliminate all the evidence that you've identified in the documentary?

Jack the Ripper is a serial killer in 1888 where until now people do not find the real identity of him even though there are over one hundred Jack the Ripper suspect have been proposed. Based on the documentary Jack the Ripper in America, Ed Norris which is a retired detective, he believe that Jack the Ripper is a person names James Kelly. He finds several evidences that show Kelly was the killer.

The first evidence is Kelly was murdered his wife in 1883 less in one month of his marriage by stabbing his wife in the neck. This is because he found that his wife has another man. Nevertheless, he doing so because he was not in a good emotion where people when they are angry they will lost their control and do something beyond their thinking.

The next evidence is Kelly was committed to the Broadmoor Asylum, and he was escaped on 1888 from there by using his own key. However, there is no evidence that shows Kelly was in Whitechapel since the police could not find him for almost 40 years.

The third evidence is Kelly has worked as a furniture upholsterer which this job requires hardiness with a knife. However, as we know Ripper was an expert since he was using the equipment that is related to operation and he knew about human’s organ where Ripper must be someone who is knowledgeable about human body since Kelly does not have it.

In conclusion, James Kelly is not the Jack the Ripper because the evidences do not really show that he was the murder.

From Hell

As we know, Jack the Ripper is a serial killer in 1888 who was killed many female prostitutes by cut their throats and also removes some of the organs in their body. After watched the movie, I found that some plot is accurate to the historical fact in the JTR murders and some aspect of the plot is based on the filmmakers' own imagination.

First and foremost, the plot in the movie that is accurate to the historical fact in the Jack the Ripper is how the prostitutes were murdered. As we can see in the movie Mary Ann Nichols, Annie Chapman, Elizabeth Stride and also Mary Jane Kelly were murdered same like the historical fact

Scrawled and misspelled note reading: From hell—Mr Lusk—Sir I send you half the kidne I took from one woman prasarved it for you tother piece I fried and ate it was very nise I may send you the bloody knif that took it out if you only wate a whil longer—Signed Catch me when you can Mishter Lusk

. The other plot that is accurate to the historical fact is the “From Hell” letter where this letter came with a small box that contains a kidney. However, the plot that is based on the filmmakers’ own imagination is the death of Martha Tabram which she was killed by 39 stabs, but in the movie itself she has been killed same goes to other victims
